Ace-King VS Ace-Seven.... what a bad beat...

CARI LETTORI!

DEAR READERS!

First of all, good morning!

I'm about to show you the bad beat I had this night in a Totosì FreeRoll started at 11.30 PM. We were 1000 partecipants at the beginning... at 1.30 AM there were only 11 left, chip leader at 467.000$, I had 256.000$, positioning myself in 5th place.

And the fatal hand started for me:
in Small Blind, with blinds to scare the hell out of Us: 30.000-60.000$, ante 6.000$.

2 players just limp, while I raise to
120.000$, and they both called.

Flop: .

I was first to act, I had 130.000$, went ALL-IN, and got a caller, while the third player folded.

Pot is about 510.000$!

Showdown. He got:
.

I felt myself the winner! Top Pair, with top Kicker!

Turn is a , and my opponent's winning pecentage decreased to 7%.
But... there's always a "but" in these sort of situations...

River is a !!!!!!!!

And I was not believing it! It's something like impossible, but happened. And I left the scene in 11th place, awarding 2 euros only...

WHAT A BAD BEAT!

But I wished the player to win the tournament, and he perfectly knew I had a bad beat and he was lucky, and he wished to meet me again in another tournament.
This is what I mean for fair-play :)

Pre-flop: Limp, or Raise?

Carissimi lettori,

O tendete a fare raise?

Come agireste? O come agite mentre giocate?
Rispondete in tanti magari possiamo iniziare una discussione! :)

---------------------------------------------------------

Hi my readers,

today I would like to ask you a question about your modus operandi.

When you play poker in a longhand table, so with 8 players up, do you sometimes limp?
or you simply Raise?

First off, let me specificate the meaning of "to limp": simply act with a Call at pre-flop.

Well, in my situation, if I had nice cards like suited connectors and up, I would be more concerned about a raise (whose entity is 3-4 Big Blinds), while with weak cards, I'd simply fold them, cause I don't want to invest my play-money chps in a pot I can't afford!

And you? How would you act in these cases?

Answer, and maybe we could start a discussion here! :)
