Pre-flop: Limp, or Raise?

Carissimi lettori,

oggi arrivo subito con una domanda pertinente al vostro modus operandi.

Nel momento di giocare a poker in un longhand table, quindi con 8 o più giocatori, limpate spesso?
O tendete a fare raise?

Premetto il significato di "Limpare": fare semplicemente call al pre-flop.

Personalmente se mi trovo con mani relativamente forti, come suited connectors in su, tendo a fare raise di 3-4 volte il Big Blind, ma con mani più deboli passo perchè non mi va di spendere fiches in un piatto con carte deboli!

Voi invece? Come agireste? O come agite mentre giocate?

First off, let me specificate the meaning of "to limp": simply act with a Call at pre-flop.

Well, in my situation, if I had nice cards like suited connectors and up, I would be more concerned about a raise (whose entity is 3-4 Big Blinds), while with weak cards, I'd simply fold them, cause I don't want to invest my play-money chps in a pot I can't afford!

And you? How would you act in these cases?
